Brent Singers, with musical director Matthew Searles returned for our first performance since December 2019 with a reflective and moving concert on the theme of remembrance. With wonderful organ music and accompaniment played by David Davies, and cellist Gregory Vorster beautifully accompanying some of our Armed Man pieces, we were thrilled to sing in front of an audience again, who also enjoyed readings by some of our choir members. A chance to remember those we have sadly lost since we last performed, and a celebration of the resilience of our choir, our community, key workers and volunteers.
"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them."
