Brent Singers with Director Matthew Searles performed a wonderful selection of Christmas pieces for a packed out St Petroc's Church yesterday evening. On a chilly winter's night, our audience was treated to classic Christmas carols and festive pieces along with a warming mulled wine and mince pie at the interval! Organist David Davies treated us to a fabulous rendition of Sleigh Ride, and members of the choir chose selected readings to beautifully complete our concert.
Welcomed by Reverend Professor Gina Radford, Brent Singers ladies wore gold scarves to mark our 50th anniversary year.
We were also delighted to welcome Anthony Mangnall, MP for Totnes and South Devon, who joined us with his wife Harriet to enjoy our festive concert. (Pictured here with Brent Singers Chair Dr Gill Bedford and Brent Singers Musical Director Matthew Searles.)
Brent Singers next concert is a Fauré and Vaughan Williams Come and Sing event at Buckfast Abbey on Saturday 6th April. See our website for more details - brentsingers.org.uk
