Brent Singers perform "Shoah"

This evening Brent Singers were joined by the choristers of Buckfast Abbey and soloist Hannah Deasy, as well as speakers Matthew Clayman - ambassador from the Holocaust Education Trust, and Ian Wintersgill. Our Musical Director was Matthew Searles, and we were accompanied on the organ by Shoah's composer, Philip Arkwright. It had promised to be an emotive evening and it did not fail to deliver; the speakers and the music together gave us a chance to remember and focus on the sheer scale and horror of the Holocaust on the eve of Holocaust Memorial Day 2019.
